We are now looking for a full-time **F**abricator** **to join our friendly and hardworking team in Salisbury, South Australia. This hands-on role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Tradesperson to join our maintenance team in a role with plenty of variety and opportunities to develop your skills further.

**What you will help fabricate**:
Joining our Maintenance team as a fabricator, you will be responsible for creating fabricated solutions for repairing existing equipment or constructing replacement infrastructure within the plant. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not be limited to:

- Fabricating and repairing plant and equipment working predominantly in 3/16 stainless steel and aluminium;
- Nitrogen purging of welding material;
- Interpret engineering drawings and plan to produce high-quality products;
- Diagnose and rectify problems, including the creation of unique solutions and products;
- Assisting the maintenance team with maintaining the performance of plant and equipment; and
- Adhering to Michell's policies and procedures, particularly concerning safety, at all times.

**What you will bring to the team**:
To thrive in this role, you will be a qualified Tradesperson with experience across various welding techniques, including Tig, Mig, Oxy and Arc. You will bring experience working with 3/16 Stainless Steel and the ability to nitrogen purge to ensure the integrity of your work.

Physically fit, with the ability to work on your feet for extended periods will be required for the role, as will the ability to work effectively with a diverse team with varying levels of ability. Experience with a CMS, while not required for the position, will be advantageous.

You will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, which will include alcohol and drug screening prior to employment and will undergo random drug and alcohol testing during your employment.
