**The Opportunity**

We have an opportunity for a Parliament and Cabinet Officer to be part of the Office of the Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development and the Minister for Forest Industries within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.

The Parliament and Cabinet Officer is accountable for the provision of a comprehensive Parliamentary support service for the Minister's Office by undertaking a broad range of administrative and parliamentary services including monitoring and processing of Hansard, Notice Papers, coordinating Parliamentary Briefing folders, coordinating the Minister's legislative program, coordinating parliamentary processes and overseeing the Minister's Cabinet program.

The role also contributes to the efficient and effective management of Cabinet operations and processes for the Minister's Office and oversees the compliance statutory obligation of Boards and Committees under the Minister's control. The role contributes to the delivery of onePIRSA, the PIRSA team's shared commitment to operate as a modern, effective and reliable public sector agency.

**Special Conditions**
- Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to being made an offer of employment.
- Opportunity up to 27 March 2026.
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

**Requirements**:

- Possession of a current driver’s license and willingness to drive.
- Out of hours work and inter / intrastate travel may be required.
- Australian residency or current works permit is required (responsibility of applicant to provide evidence of a current work permit).
- The incumbent will be required to undertake emergency management training and must be willing to participate in emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities required by government agencies.

**Remuneration**

ASO4 - $76,561 min - $80,256 max per annum, plus superannuation
