**The Role**:
As a **Retail Team Member**, you’ll be on the frontline delivering next-level customer service and sharing your passion for ocean sports with fellow enthusiasts. Whether it’s in-store or over the phone, you’ll be matching customers with the perfect gear while contributing to a vibrant, high-energy store environment.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Deliver friendly, expert advice to customers both in-store and over the phone
- Operate POS systems and assist at the customer service desk
- Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing store
- Prepare quotes and process customer orders
- Become a go-to product guru in your department
- Stay ahead of the curve with the latest gear and trends
- Help smash team sales goals and elevate the customer experience
- Support stock turnaround and contribute to efficient store operations

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Proven retail/customer service experience (bonus points if it’s in the diving or outdoor space)
- Spearfishing, Scuba Diving or Surfing knowledge or experience is highly desirable — we love fellow ocean adventurers
- A solution-focused mindset and proactive attitude
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical store duties
- Keen eye for detail and pride in doing the job right
- Fast learner who’s flexible and eager to take on new challenges

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $25.65 - $36.73 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Zillmere, QLD 4034: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
