**The Role**
We are looking for an extremely motivated and enthusiastic Technical Specialist to join our growing Service Team.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Be a key technical focal point for escalation assistance
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Work collaboratively with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to identify and solve problems.
- Understand and interpret electrical schematics and other technical drawings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment, including identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Participate in training sessions and mentorship opportunities to develop skills and knowledge.
- Be open to travel, including on-site work at remote customer locations.
**Skills / Qualifications**
- Relevant Electrical / Mechanical qualifications; degree in engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential).
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics.
- Experience working with digital printers (HP Indigo)
- Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment.
- Basic understanding of RIP software (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior engineers.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel domestically / internationally as needed.
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a similar position diagnosing and repairing / troubleshooting mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment.
