Support Worker

We are urgently seeking Support Workers who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our participants. The role involves providing high-quality care to clients in their homes and communities, ensuring their needs are met while adhering to legislative requirements and government standards.
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Assist older people and people with a disability living independently in the community with activities relating to personal wellbeing, household management, and lifestyle, including:
1. Personal hygiene, grooming, and presentation.
2. General household cleaning and environmental maintenance tasks.
3. Activities of interest in the home and local community.
4. Activities related to the maintenance or improvement of health and wellbeing.
5. Other reasonable requests made by the Client.
**Other duties**: The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company and client. Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required.

**Essential Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home and Community, or Disability)
- Cert IV in Ageing or Disability Support
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 1-year Aged Care or Disability experience desirable.
**Knowledge**:
- Aged Care Quality Standards
- NDIS Standards
**Skills & Competencies**:
- Customer service-focused: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels - written, phone, and face-to-face.
- Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
- Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.
- Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get along with team members.
- Time management organization: accomplish objectives effectively within the given timeframe and carry out administrative duties within the portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.
