As a QUALITY INSPECTOR, you will be responsible for quality control at following areas:

- Inspect produce and related operations for compliance with QA programs
- Auditing and monitoring quality procedures at farm and food handling and processing facilities to ensure compliance with QA Programs
- Testing produces for MRL’s (Maximum Residue levels)
- Ensure quality water use on farm i.e., without contamination and free from microbes
- Implementation of Integrated pest and weed management (IPM)
- Correct disposal of the waste material
- Setting up correct crop regulation techniques to achieve quality produce
- Responsible for vermin control
- Good agricultural practices and hygienic practices implementation
- Product identification and traceability
- Communicate with Quality Certification registration bodies and maintain farm’s ongoing quality systems

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Morning shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Werribee South VIC 3030: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Horticulture: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (required)
