Hello everyone

Doncaster Music Centre is seeking a new singing teacher to join our team. We are based in Doncaster East, and have been providing the community private tuition in all kinds of instruments for 40 years. We are seeking teachers who share our passion for music, and are excited to share that passion with budding musicians.

We are looking for a teacher to teach on Saturdays, between the hours of 9am and 3pm.

All our lessons are one on one, for 30 minutes, and conducted at our studio in Doncaster east. Our students range between 5 years old, up to retirees, from beginners to advanced. Our goal is to foster a passion for music in our students, and inspire them in their musical journey so that music can continue to form an important part of many individuals lives. If you are a passionate singer wanting to work in music, and share the joy of music with others, we would love to hear from you

The rate of pay is $17 per half an hour student ($34 per hour). The position is on a sub-contract basis, with teachers requiring their own ABN and a working with children check (this can be applied for later, if you do not have one yet).

We are looking for someone who is proficient in singing, is friendly and personable, and good with young children. Experience teaching would be beneficial, but is not essential. Some kind of educational background in music (having sat for AMEB exams or equivalent, or a bachelor of music etc) is also desirable, but not essential.
