We are seeking a highly talented and motivated Security Supervisor to join our team to manage the overall physical security of our sites and staff members as well as managing the security guard workforce at our corporate sites and print centre located in Melbourne
- Direct supervision of guards including all relevant rostering, training, performance and adherence to policies, ensuring efficient and cost effective delivery of service.
- Conducting site security audits and security risk assessments
- Coordinating and leading security functions, emergency / incident response and security related activities.
- Providing on-call responsibilities to provide operational support, service continuity and assistance when required.
- Building and developing security teams, ensuring a consistent improvement of skills, and that all KPI’s and SLA’s are met.
- Assisting in the response to threats received towards staff or the business as well as planning and deploying individual staff security requirements whilst conducting their roles in the community.

**Who are you?**
- 5+ years of work experience in a similar role.
- Ability to maintain constructive working relationships with other external and local authority security teams.
- Intermediate to Advanced Computer skills - Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Understanding of the principles and models of managing threats and risk in the complex security environment.
- Suitable understanding of theory and technology to secure assets and protect critical infrastructure.
- Experience in contemporary emergency management process and procedure.
- Current NSW Security Licence - 1ACE and 2D
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Prior demonstrated experience in staff and performance management.
- Demonstrated experience in a Corporate environment, managing client relationships.
- Report writing and presentation skills.
