**Job Description**:
We are currently seeking an experienced PM Operations Supervisor to join our Palletised team at our Perth Airport distribution centre. Reporting to the Manager, you will optimise operations efficiency through effective utilisation of equipment and employees, ensuring movement of freight in accordance with schedules and time deadlines.

This is a position that encompasses people, customer and safety. You will be responsible for the operation and do so with the customer front of mind. You are also someone who understands the importance of ensuring operational excellence.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**
- Oversee floor operations to ensure cost efficient and effective allocation of labour and equipment to achieve daily work requirements
- Ensure freight is received, documented, handled and loaded in the correct manner, whilst achieving maximum vehicle utilisation at mínimal cost
- Plan and co-ordinate freight to allocated trailers, ensuring all freight is loaded in assigned bays
- Ensure loading of Dangerous Goods is carried out in accordance with the Dangerous Goods Code
- Ensure all freight movements are scanned using ILFT and is is secured safely in accordance with Load Restraint Guidelines
- Ensure all instances of damages to freight or equipment (forklift) are reported using a Service Incident Report and to customer service
- Ensure customer freight is appropriately labelled and delivered in accordance with delivery specifications.
- Ensure daily pre starts are done for all assigned forklifts and escalate any fault rectification
- Ensure load plans and travel documentation are completed accurately
- Monitor all Forklift Operators to ensure the correct use of any ancillary equipment e.g ramps, lifting platform etc
- Determine and consult with Depot Supervisor regarding daily labour hire requirements
- Ensure all new workers are inducted as per Toll Express Procedure
- Complete staff roster daily and ensure that all leave is recorded accurately
- When required, work with Linehaul to ensure the effective utilisation of trailing equipment

- 2+ years supervisory level experience in the transport industry
- Experience with Bulk DGs
- Strong knowledge of Metropolitan Perth
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced understanding of the Dangerous Goods Code, fatigue management requirements and vehicle mass limits
- Sound operational knowledge and ability
