**What You'll Do**:
As the **Estimation Lead**, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our projects by providing accurate, insightful cost estimates to drive project success and empower teams to plan effectively.
- Lead the estimation process for projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.
- Analyze project documents, including blueprints, specifications, and timelines, to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate costs, and refine estimation methodologies.
- Evaluate vendor proposals, supplier quotes, and subcontractor bids to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Develop and maintain estimation templates, tools, and documentation for consistent use across projects.
- Present estimates to stakeholders, providing insights into cost drivers and potential risks.
- Monitor project budgets, update estimates as needed, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
- Mentor and guide junior estimators to enhance team capability and performance.

**What You'll Bring**:
To excel in this role, you'll bring a strong background in estimation, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively. Key qualifications include:

- Proven experience within software consultancy or professional services environments.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical documents and project requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and present cost insights to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
- Leadership experience with a focus on fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- A technical qualification in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology is required (or equivalent experience). Project Management experience will also be well regarded.
