Quality and Compliance Manager

Position Summary: The Quality and Compliance Manager at Pretzel Brand will enhance our

quality standards, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with food safety, WHS,

and industry certifications. This role focuses on ISO 9001 certification to support the brand’s

franchising expansion and aims to instil robust quality control across all Pretzel Brand locations.

This position requires a hands-on approach to quality assurance, industry compliance, and staff

training within our vibrant, youth-oriented culture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advance quality standards through implementing and refining processes to foster company

growth.
- Identify areas for improvement, ensuring production and service consistency, conducting

inspections, audits, and collaborating with teams for quality integration.
- Manage compliance with FSANZ, HACCP, and WHS standards, overseeing certifications,

and training staff on quality protocols.
- Lead ISO 9001 certification initiatives, coordinating strategic planning for franchisereadiness.
- Investigate quality issues to develop corrective actions, document quality metrics, and

introduce relevant technologies.

Qualifications:

- Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s in Quality Management, Food Science, or similar,

with HACCP and food safety supervision certification. Familiarity with FSANZ and WHS

standards, with knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Management preferred.
- Experience: Six months in pretzel baking or bakery services, and hospitality experience,

ideally in fast food or quick-service formats.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and training capabilities with the ability to lead

and collaborate across departments.

Challenges: This role demands a unique skill set blending food quality assurance with a strong

dynamic, vibrant team and will need to understand both the technical and cultural aspects of

Pretzel Brand’s operations, given the company’s distinct market position.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
