**About the Role**
Due to the acquisition of new contracts and continued business growth, we have an immediate requirement for an experienced Environmental Services Officer to join our client on a 9-month contract based in their Logan Central office.
**An overview is below**
- Proactively engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate integration and leverage of environmental services within Council and across related external organisations.
- Support the development and delivery of the annual program of marketing, events and education activities for the Natural Environment and Sustainability program.
- Respond to customer service requests relating to environmental services, environmental management, and education.
- Support the Environmental Services Coordinator to develop and implement efficient customer service channels and processes that ensure appropriate balance between the quality of customer experience and effective utilisation of council resources (positions, budget, etc.).
- Deliver environmental extension services, environmental education programs and oversee environmental grants, effectively managing multiple priorities to meet business needs.
- Degree in environmental management, science or similar.
- Strong customer and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to distil complex technical information into practical language that is relevant to a diverse range of audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering environmental services, with a track record in providing highly valued outcomes for customers and delivering required outcomes within agreed timeframes.
