Unlike the original, **Lona Misa** reveals its charismatic charm and endearing idiosyncrasies upon the first visit. Home to 90 seats and sustainably crafted to be shareable, seasonal, and flavourful, Latin fare and bistro dining collide against the norms of the classical medley you know of vegan and vegetarian dining. Bringing Lona Misa to life are hospitality legends, and renowned Melbourne, Chefs Shannon Martinez of Smith & Daughters and Ian Curley of French Saloon, Kirk’s Wine bar. In the kitchen, yin meets yang, North meets South, oil meets vinegar. Curley and Martinez, curate a heavily vegan menu offering vegetarian additions.

**The Gig**

Reporting to the food and beverage supervisor, you will play a vital role within the venue, providing the highest level of service and supporting the team to achieve outstanding performance. This is a **Casual** role and will require flexibility within your availability. As our newest **Food & Beverage Attendant**, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Assist guests with entire dining experience from greeting them, seating them, taking orders and keeping them happy at all times by anticipating all there needs
- Familiarise yourself with restaurant products and services including full knowledge of menus, wine lists and other beverages
- Ensure you are aware of all dietary requirements to provide guests with the most accurate information about menu offerings
- Demonstrate high levels of service and prompt, efficient and polite responses to all requests
- Encourage feedback from our guests, to update and maintain guest history records, enabling us to anticipate the needs of our guests
- Demonstrate a good knowledge of the local area and continually update knowledge of the latest trends
- Be pro-active in your approach to the job and work within the specific standards and procedures. (e.g. introduce yourself to guests, use their name and interact on a personalised basis)

**About you**

At Ovolo, we are all about YOU. We provide a fun and exciting environment and all we ask is that you give us your dedication to our brand and most importantly, your team You're a hard-working individual that's not scared to jump in and help where needed. Ideally you will have a Food & Beverage background with knowledge of restaurant operations, however if you come with the right attitude, the rest is simple You will have a valid RSA or willing to get one prior to starting. We require that you provide flexibility in your availability, willing to work various shifts including mornings, nights & weekends. You will have good communications skills and have the ability to remain calm and professional within a fast-paced environment.
