**About the Role...**

We now have a vacancy for a suitably experienced and passionate** National Account Manager** to join our sales team.

Reporting into our National Sales Manager, you will achieve the Sales and Profit objectives of Menz through the management of selected existing accounts and through the development of new sales channels & marketplaces.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Thorough knowledge of grocery and non
- grocery (preferably confectionery) market and trends in Australia
- Achieving sales targets within your designated accounts / customers.
- Development, negotiation and implementation of agreed promotional activities
- Achievement of National Sales Budget - Vol, and Gross Margin.
- The development of constructive and mutually beneficial relationships with key retail customers, local brokers (where applicable) / distributors and Menz sales team members to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Preparation and presentation of new lines / category reviews and promotional programs to Menz customers
- Accurate and timely completions of all promotional templates / customer specific procedures to ensure promotional plans are implemented.
- Accurate and timely forecasting, both volume and value based.
- Developing new and emerging channels

**About You...**

As an experienced **National Account Manager,** you will be an energetic achiever who can demonstrate a strong drive for results, coupled with a superior customer focus.

We are looking for a person who is a skilled and confident communicator and negotiator, who ideally can lead and engage others both internally and externally.

You demonstrate management experience and the ability to inspire and motivate.

A track record in sales is required, along with preferably experience in, or knowledge of the FMCG industry. Tertiary qualifications are highly regarded, but not essential.

**To be successful, you will need to have the following**:

- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, commerce or business preferred but not essential.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Account Management role (FMCG highly regarded but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build customer relations and engagement.
- The ability to work efficiently and autonomously.
- Excellent financial acumen.
- Valid Driver’s License essential
