Marketing Specialist

Starting from humble beginnings, Wilderness Escape Outdoor Adventures in South Australia's largest outdoor adventure and education provider. Firmly established and proudly South Australian, our core business is outdoor education, through adventure-based learning experiences to students.
- Creating engaging print and digital content and campaigns to grow brand awareness and increase sales through new client acquisition and retention of existing clients
- Develop, plan, implement and maintain all marketing materials including blogs, newsletters, editorials, brochures, website content etc
- Creating, implementing and developing marketing strategies for each brand which are consistent with the Wilderness Escape Outdoor Adventures (WEOA) values and objectives
- Conduct market research on competitor and industry activities and provide written reports that measure WEOA standing within the industry
- Source, organise and maintain marketing databases - clients, images, videos etc
- Maintain multiple Google Adword accounts as well as monitoring and developing SEO for websites
- Social media engagement - responding to comments, reviews etc
- Facilitating and assisting with event preparations
- Managing annual marketing budget and providing reports as required
- Supporting and upholding the values and philosophies of WEOA
- Providing general, ad-hoc administrative support as required

**To be successful in this role, you will need to possess**
- Tertiary qualification in marketing or related qualification
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a marketing role
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Strong time management, high level of attention to detail with the ability to follow through
- Self-motivated, results driven and passionate about all things marketing.
- Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite
- Search engine optimization experience
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with WordPress, MS Office Suite, Mailchimp & Hootsuite
- Experience in the tourism, disability, education or other related industries is desirable

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
