**About us...**LHI Retirement Services is one of South Australia's leading Christian Aged Care providers. We are innovative and team based as we work together to ensure that our Residents are central to all we do and that quality care is continually provided.
**About the role...**Reporting to the General Manager Residential Care with guidance from the RCH Administration Support Officer, you will provide high quality administrative and reception services for the Residential Care Home (RCH) at our Glynde site. You will also provide administrative support to the Care Manager and Care Coordinator.

Another component of the role is the ability to step-up into the RCH Administration Support Officer role during periods of leave. It is anticipated that this would be no longer than a period of 2 or 3 weeks a couple of times a year. During the period of coverage you would be paid higher duties.
**About you **You are a role model, supporting and affirming the service excellence culture, vision and mission of LHI. You lead by example and will be able to identify and participate in opportunities for improvement in the delivery of services to our Residents, and contribute to the LHI Continuous Improvement process.

You are an upbeat and positive person with great communication skills who is able to build strong professional relationships with numerous stakeholders, for example, Residents and their families, MO’s and Allied Health providers, team members and other staff and at the same time ensure high quality customer service is provided.
**Essential criteria**:

- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
- Competence with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Willing to learn new systems and processes
- Experienced in working as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Able to work unsupervised
- Demonstrates respect and confidentiality
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
- Able to ask for assistance during periods of pressure and competing demands
- Committed to on-going staff development, including mandatory education
- Demonstrates compliance with organisational policies and procedures
- Current National Criminal History Check (within last 12 months)
- Empathy with the Christian Philosophy of LHI
- Rights to work in Australia
- Current COVID and Flu vaccinations
- Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical.

**Desirable criteria**:

- Previous reception experience
- Previous experience in Aged Care.
