**About the Role**
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled individual to join the Health, Education & Learning Precinct (HELP) team as a Support Officer. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing user support and maintaining equipment and facilities in the HELP, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the precinct. With the unique combination of supporting both the Department of Paediatrics and the Royal Children's Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team and make a meaningful impact on the education and healthcare community. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing comprehensive IT support and troubleshooting for users of the HELP facilities, ensuring optimal service and minimising issues.
- Managing room bookings, adhering to guidelines, and developing innovative technical solutions for users' educational goals.
- Offering IT and AV support to the Department of Paediatrics, including procurement, installation, maintenance, and monitoring of equipment and software.
- Supporting onsite, hybrid, and online conferences and meetings, including scheduling, technical assistance, troubleshooting, and video editing.

**Who We Are Looking For**
You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various sectors. Your strong organisational abilities enable you to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. You have a proven track record of maintaining and improving operational processes and excel both independently and as a valuable team member.

You will also have:

- Tertiary qualification and/or experience in face-to-face technical end-user support or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, including diagnosing technical IT/AV user issues, developing processes, and designing innovative solutions for effective service delivery.

- This position requires the incumbent to hold a current and _valid Working with Children Check_ to ensure the University provides a safe environment for everyone._
