**Drinks Specialist - Spirits | Dan Murphy’s - Double Bay | Let’s mix it up**

I wonder if there is a margarita somewhere out there thinking about me, too. Reporting to the Store Manager and joining our National Community of Drinks Specialists, this specialised role provides customers with passionate knowledge around our spirit selection. With so many options to choose from, we've created experts in this category to guide customers on a spirit journey of discovery.

**The ROLE**:

- Actively engage customers in an authentic way in store, sharing spirit product knowledge and providing exceptional service.
- Work collaboratively with the store leadership team in setting up and facilitating customer events.
- Advocate for My Dan’s loyalty by engaging with customers to understand benefits and product offerings.
- Assist in developing the product knowledge of team members in the store.
- Undertake a variety of instore tasks, including customer service and inventory tasks as well as duty management.
- Make decisions through and role model our Values and Ways of Working.
- Contribute to store sales planning processes by sharing your specialist product knowledge and recommendations on product lines.

**The YOU**:

- **YOU** have extensive knowledge in spirits, with good knowledge of other categories (wine / beer)
- **YOU** love to share your knowledge with others in a genuine and authentic way
- **YOU** have a passion for learning about new and emerging trends and categories
- **YOU** have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- **YOU** have a current RSA certificate and the ability to work key customer hours
- **YOU** have experience in a drinks related role, including bar work or brand role, would be well regarded

**About Dan Murphy's**

In 1952, an ambitious and plucky upstart opened a liquor store to rival his father's. You might have heard of him. His name was Daniel Francis Murphy, and he did things a little differently. Dan launched Australia's first wine club, threw storied social events and introduced his guests to exciting wines from all over the world. But above all, he believed in offering his customers the best experience and the biggest range at the lowest price. That's a promise we keep to this day in over 250 Dan Murphy's stores Australia-wide.
