Reporting to the Maintenance Manager this role is responsible for the optimisation of the performance, availability and safety of fixed plant, by liaising with the process team, maintenance planners and superintendent.

**To be successful in the role you will possess the following skills, qualifications & personal attributes***:

- Electrical or Mechanical Trade Certificate Desirable
- Frontline Management Qualifications
- Underground Experience (Mono Pumps)
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawing and fault-finding control circuits
- Ability to mentor and lead a team of HV Electricians
- 7-10 years’ experience in the electrical field including a minimum of 3-5 years’ working on processing plants with preventative maintenance programs and systems
- 3-5+ years’ working in a supervisory capacity, preferably on Mine Sites, with exposure to maintenance planning
- Experience working in accordance with AS3007 and electrical wiring rules
- Hazard identification, risk assessment and incident investigation experience
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office and competent with maintenance planning and work orders utilising software such as Pronto

**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Accept statutory appointment as an Electrical Supervisor and ensure compliance with associated statutory responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the electrical maintenance activities primarily of the process plant and services, including camp and offices, ensuring productive and quality work outputs
- Supervise and coordinate regular inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair
- Supervise critical HV and LV electrical maintenance tasks ensuring the work is completed safely and on time
- Assist, guide and mentor the team as required and provide hands on assistance as required
- Liaise closely with the maintenance superintendent, and process team to prioritise electrical maintenance activities to reduce impact on production
- Assist in work planning, scheduling and resource allocation with a focus on the weekly electrical maintenance plan
- Understand the monthly process forecast and communicate plant targets with the maintenance team
- Ensure employees receive adequate training and instruction to perform their work
- Practice effective cost management and identify cost minimisation strategies
