**Job Description**:
Join a small tight knit team of Graphic Designers working in the heart of Nine’s Perth Newsroom.

Our role is to create clear and precise infographics to be displayed during our daily news bulletins, requiring a confident and quick approach to graphic design and animation in order to meet our daily deadlines.

The team itself is learning focused and we constantly work with each other to develop templates and animation styles that make our work easier and more efficient. Allowing us to constantly improve the quality of our news bulletin.

You will be working with Journalists and Producers to create Animations and Infographics for news stories, while also working with your own team to create templates and animated elements.

Day to day includes but won't be limited to:

- Quickly and Creatively interpreting briefs
- Creating animations and Infographics with tight deadlines
- Communicating effectively with Producers and Journalists
- Developing new graphics templates and Converting successful graphics into multifunctional graphics bases
- Working with the weather producer to prepare the Weather Segments

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills:

- Knowledge of the Adobe Suite, including (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Strong 2D Animation Workflow
- Good base Level of graphic design skills
- 2+ Years experience developing motion graphics (Study and/or Work)
- Great attention to detail, while maintaining short deadlines.

Desirable experience & skills
- 3D workflow (Element 3D, Cinema 4D)
- Understanding of producing content for TV
- Strong eye for design
- Experience with broadcast software (Viz and Metra Wetherscape)
- Ability to work in high pressure environment with tight deadlines
