**Your new opportunity at Nine.**

Join our small tight knit team of Graphic Artists working in the heart of Nine’s Perth Newsroom. Our role is to create clear and precise infographics to be displayed during our daily news bulletins.

The role requires a confident and quick approach to graphic design and animation in order to meet daily deadlines. The team itself is learning-focused and we constantly work with each other to develop templates and animation styles that make our work easier and more efficient, allowing us to constantly improve the quality of our news bulletin.

Your day to day duties will include:

- Creating beautiful animating and still graphics ranging from large screens on set to infographics including maps, timelines, graphs and stings
- Liaising with Producers and Editors
- Creating and collaborating in a team environment

As a casual you will work approx 7-16 hrs per week across a variety of shifts (inc. weekends).

You will work comfortably in a team environment and show commitment to the team's purpose, while effectively contributing and sharing skills and knowledge with others. You’ll have an ability to absorb information and act accordingly, often working within tight on air deadlines. You will be a great communicator, proactive in discussing and presenting solutions and raising ideas for improvement in a positive and professional way.

What you will bring to the role:

- 2+ Years experience developing motion graphics (Study and/or Work)
- Knowledge of the Adobe Suite, including After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Strong 2D Animation Workflow experience (3D workflow would be a bonus)
- Good base level of graphic design skills
- Great attention to detail and experience working in high pressure environments and to tight deadlines
- Understanding of producing content for TV and experience with broadcast software (Viz and Metra Weatherscape) would be great, but is not essential
