One of Powerlink’s key drivers is to become the renewable energy super grid and we need your help to decarbonise the QLD electricity market. If you are experienced in coordinating design of high voltage substations and transmission lines including connecting renewable projects to the National Electricity Market, then we want to hear from you.

**About the role**:
We currently have excellent career opportunities for Design Managers to coordinate design delivery across multiple design disciplines for High Voltage substation and transmission line projects across both regulated capital works as well as high voltage customer connection works including solar, Battery Storage and Windfarm connection to Powerlink network.

You will coordinate the delivery from internal multidisciplinary design teams as well as manage external designs and customer interface including the commercial and technical aspects associated with these designs.

**About you**:
You will have the demonstrated ability to successfully manage the efficient delivery of design from across multiple discipline in order to ensure field maintenance, refurbishment and capital work is planned, managed and delivered to time, budget and quality requirements for our HV transmission network.

You will need the passion and energy to drive design solution and deliver agreed design outcomes working with various internal and external stakeholders simultaneously for multiple complex projects.

**Qualifications and experience**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, design or an allied discipline; and/or equivalent competency in an engineering discipline with very good knowledge and experience with high voltage substations, transmission lines or telecommunications technologies.
