**The Dental Assistant position (casual) **will contribute to the achievements of the organisation’s aims and objectives by assisting dental operators to perform their duties to the highest standard and thereby enable effective and efficient delivery of dental services to the community.

**Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Provide high quality clinical assistance to oral health professionals
- Contribute to Health Promoting Practice model
- Undertake Reception duties, intake and administrative duties to support the efficient operations of the clinic

**Key Selection Criteria**

**Essential qualifications, attributes and skills include, but are not limited to**:

- Dental Assistant Certificate lll or Certificate IV level.
- Organised and attention to detail
- Able to work in a culturally appropriate manner with clients
- Able to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Establish work priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Professional personal presentation and behaviour, particularly with clients
- Responsive and sensitive to cultural needs of clients
- Able to undertake administrative tasks
- Able to verbally communicate in another language as per client group an advantage

Please note it is a requirement for all employees of North Richmond Community Health to demonstrate evidence of mandatory immunisations/vaccinations prior to commencement of employment, based on the Immunisation Category their position falls under.
