Dental One Pty Ltd are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Dental Assistant to join our professional staff on a full-time basis, taking on a leadership position overseeing the daily operations of the team our Richmond clinic.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Support dentists, oral health therapists, and the larger team in working more efficiently
  • Provide a high standard of care and support to patients
  • Train, upskill and mentor staff as required, including existing junior dental assistants
  • Assist with team management when the Practice Manager is off site
  • Manage stock and ensure equipment is maintained
  • Strive for continuous operational improvement through regular review of clinic processes
  • Occasional cover of reception over breaks and general and support of the team as needed

Experience & attributes:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position
  • Cert III in Dental Assisting and Cert IV in Radiology are both highly advantageous (though non-essential)
  • Strong background in daily management of a clinical team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to varying personalities
  • Adaptable approach to change and passion for streamlining work processes
  • A keen focus on patient wellbeing and staff development
