We are seeking a Parts/Admin assistant for our busy workshops. Working on a wide variety of vehicles we specialise in suspension and chassis repair from the smash repair industry. We currently have a great opportunity for someone wanting to join our small and friendly team in the office as a parts purchaser. You will be required to purchase parts from our various suppliers, both new and used and also assist with key reporting. This is a key component of our business that keeps the work flowing. Reporting directly to the workshop manager this role requires good relations between new, used and genuine part suppliers to get the correct part at the best price and in a timely manner.

Your duties will include:

- Parts ordering
- Co-ordinating ETA’s with the workshop manager, assessors and panel shops
- Control of incoming parts and returns
- Receipting of parts into iBody (training provided)
- Basic Reporting
- Use of Parts check (training provided)
- A passion for finding the best deal out there
- Addressing incoming calls regarding queries

The successful applicant will possess:

- An automotive background or basic understanding of vehicles
- Excellent communication skills
- Good eye for detail
- Professional and well-spoken phone manner
- Great time management
- Problem solving skills and ability to think on your feet
- Punctual and reliable
- Team player with a good work ethic
- Experience with Word and Excel

A background of knowledge of vehicle and spare parts is not essential but highly regarded.

**Salary**: $42,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
