Work within this fast-paced team responsible for ensuring all relevant market information and data are administered concerning ASX listed and unlisted products. This role will give you exposure to the hub of financial markets within the Australian market. You will provide superior customer service to our customers, in line with our strong regulatory focus. As a key contributor, you will participate in projects to operationalise new products, systems or changes that have a direct impact to the Australian financial markets.
What You'll Do
- Acquire and demonstrate an understanding of the ASX's Listings and Equity Listings Operations business and related systems to facilitate the administration of ASX products
- Ensuring all relevant market information concerning ASX products that are disseminated, on or through ASX in a timely and accurate manner
- Administer ASX products and facilitate new listings including corporate actions in an environment of high customer focus and professionalism. This includes liaising with ASX listed entities and other product issuers.
- Collaborate as a team player to support customers through issue resolution, scheduled maintenance, upgrades and technical issues
- Champion the customer and manage customer queries ensuring alignment with the ASX Customer Communication Principles
- Engage and service a diverse range of customers inclusive of brokers, custodians, system vendors, and regulators
- Compile, maintain and report statistical information
- Accurate and comprehensive reporting of issues and their resolution
- Learn and familiarise yourself with ASX's BCP emergency procedures
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce operational risk, enhance the customer experience and develop technical change
- Review operational procedures and risk controls to meet internal and external audit requirements
- Project involvement and assist in the operationalisation of new products and services or technology upgrades
What You've Done
- Previous experience in a fast paced deadline driven operational environment
- Experience in a customer facing role offering exceptional service
- Analytical experience involving the investigation of issues and problems, identifying and documenting their solutions
- Knowledge of the Australian Financial Markets and related products
- Experience in highly complex data entry and analysis of market information
- Written communication skills with ability to summarise data
- Adherence to procedures and best practice

- Exposure to operational environments in financial industry
- Understanding of processes and systems relating to the capture, storage and processing of market data content including corporate actions
- Awareness of ASX business and market operations
