The City of Perth is seeking an inspiring and forward-thinking leader with a deep commitment to arts, culture, and community. As **Alliance Manager, Arts & Culture**, you will lead a broad and vibrant portfolio that includes library and lifelong learning programs, the historic Perth Town Hall venue, the City’s art and heritage collections, cultural events, and place-based initiatives that celebrate and connect our communities.
In this key leadership role, you will be instrumental in creating inclusive and engaging cultural experiences for both residents and visitors. You’ll help ensure Perth remains a dynamic, creative, and connected city.

**The Role**
Reporting to the General Manager Community Development, you will:
- Champion initiatives such as the award winning Boorloo Heritage Festival and other significant cultural events.
- Build collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders across government, community and the cultural sector.
- Promote Perth’s unique identity and cultural heritage through innovation, participation and public engagement
- Lead the development and delivery of strategic and operational plans that promote and enhance the City’s arts, library, heritage and cultural programs.
- Provide visionary leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a high-performance and values-driven culture.
**About You**
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Arts, Culture, Heritage Management or related discipline.
- Significant experience in delivering high-impact cultural programs and services.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams in a complex environment.
- The ability to build trust and influence across diverse stakeholders and community groups.
