In this dynamic role, you'll provide exceptional customer service to patients and families while supporting the administrative operations of a hospital ward. Utilise your strong communication and organisational skills to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

**About the role**:
Working as the Ward Administration Assistant, some of your duties may involve:

- Ensuring that requests of the patient’s family re visitors are adhered to.
- Maintaining records/statistics pertinent to each area and identifying systems that require improvement.
- Receiving handover from NUM/Ward Co-coordinator regarding patient information to enable the appropriate assessment of patient needs (eg requirement for escort, infection control, transport arrangements, transit lounge etc).

**About you**:

- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience working as a Ward Administrative Assistant/Admin Assistant.
- Experience working in a clinical environment.
- Experience working with distressed patients/carers with empathy.
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills.
