**About the Role**
The primary role of a **TAFE SA** **Advanced Building Studies Lecturer** is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.

This role involves guiding students through key areas such as construction management, building codes, legal compliance, and site supervision.

Other requirements:

- Completion of TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and assessment or currently working towards completion.
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction or equivalent.
- Proven experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Application of building codes and structural principles
- Legals and contracts associated with construction work
- Building Site supervision and management
- Finance and risk management
- Strong knowledge of NCC, WHS regulations, and compliance documentation.

**Special Conditions**
- Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
- Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA.
