A very exciting Marketing & Sales Specialist - Inside Sales role has become available in the Animal Nutrition & Health business within dsm-firmenich. In this role you’ll support Account managers in all premix formulation changes, updates and new creations. To generate revenue growth by pursuing leads, supporting customers, and working with Account manager teams, including the sharing of product information, capturing insights in CRM for customer project development.

To act under the guidance of the Head of sales Australia, supporting Account managers in species specific market sectors. To assist the sales department with all processing, testing and reporting of samples sent for analysis to support product sales.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Provide commercial materials to improve customer knowledge of dsm-firmenich products/services as needed.
- Selectively participate in trade shows, meetings and industry events.
- Maintain accurate account files of all customers, projects and leads including all written communications via CRM.
- Seek advice or input from dsm-firmenich team members for “Out of Scope” customer requests.
- Continually increase communication and relationship building skills as well of knowledge of products and markets.

**You bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Marketing or Animal Science, - Nutrition, Food Science/Technology. In-depth knowledge about animal premix products and food or dietary supplement industry market segments including their manufacturing processes preferred. 2-3 years of relevant knowledge and experience in Animal Nutrition.
- In-depth knowledge of market requirements and typical specifications a plus. Driven, motivated, energetic self-starter with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast paced, highly visible department and ever-changing environment.
- Extremely resourceful, assertive individual with ability to recognize and deliver insights and solutions to internal and external customers.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills needed for tracking, managing, and analyzing customer lead effectiveness.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills as well as relationship building skills for interacting with internal and external customers.
- Results oriented individual with an ability to be flexible and creative in order to manage a variety of customer requests and requirements.
