**Your role**:
As a
**Principal Data & AI Consultant** you will be involved in providing expert advice and guidance to clients on a variety of Data & AI business and technical issues.

You are responsible for leading key and strategic customer engagements, managing teams of consultants, promoting Data & AI engagements, building a sales pipeline of engagements and building and maintaining relationships with clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead strategic engagements and build client relationships to develop an understanding of the right fit of Data & AI offerings to help our clients take their next step.
- Develop and maintain Data & AI market offerings, and promote our market offerings and generate client discussions, leads and opportunities to achieve defined objectives.
- Develop proposals, assist with tender responses and provide support to Account Managers and Business Development Managers.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to the Data & AI team that uplifts the quality of deliverables and provides proactive, constructive feedback on areas of development.
- Develop and provide thought leadership in primary area(s) of expertise and look for opportunities to broaden knowledge into other supporting areas through training, coaching/mentoring, and personal research
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in a similar role(s) within a Professional Services or Pre Sales, or a client’s environment.
- Extensive experience of the broader Data and AI ecosystem, common approaches to managing technology, modern data architecture concepts, data governance etc.
- End-to-end engagement lifecycle management experience, from pe-sales and account management activities to billing.
- Strong experience in successfully leading Data and AI engagements that have produced positive and tangible business outcomes.
- A strong client focus and a strength in taking ownership to proactively monitor customer satisfaction while negotiating mutually beneficial outcomes.

**Desirable Technical Skills**:

- Exposure to one or more of public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud
- Exposure to RDMS systems
- Exposure to reporting / analytics solutions such as Tableau, Qlik View or Qlik Sense
- Exposure to data integration tools such as Informatica, Oracle or Talend
