**Position Information**:
Wadalba Community School is a comprehensive Kindergarten to Year 12 school located in the Wyong local government area. With 260 students in the primary school, 1,200 in the secondary school, and approximately 210 Aboriginal students, the school offers a diverse and inclusive learning environment, supported by 7 Support Unit classes. Strong partnerships with the Parents and Citizens' Association (P&C), active membership in the Ngara Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG), and collaboration within the Tuggerah Lakes Network and Wadalba Learning Community underscore the school’s commitment to community engagement and shared success.

Renowned for its innovative teaching and learning practices, Wadalba Community School leverages expertise across its K-12. The Executive Leadership Team includes 15 members: 4 Assistant Principals (Primary), 11 Head Teachers (Secondary), 3 Deputy Principals (Secondary), 1 Deputy Principal (Primary), 1 Deputy Principal (Inclusion and Support), and the Principal, reflecting a robust leadership structure dedicated to supporting student achievement and wellbeing.

Extensive experience using and managing NSW Department of Education and Third Party systems with the ability to analyse and use data to improve school operations including the management and leadership of a complex school timetable.

Demonstrated ability to track, analyse, and respond to student attendance data, implementing proactive strategies to improve attendance, liaise with families, and ensure compliance with NSW Attendance Policy.

Proven capacity to lead and support executive and administrative staff in managing daily school operations and compliance processes while fostering a culture of efficiency and teamwork.

Ability to drive improvements, lead initiatives and foster a positive school culture through innovative solutions that support teaching and learning.

**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice

2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs

3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams

4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents

5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning

6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy
