About the role
The Program Support Officer will work with the Program Lead to deliver project outcomes that support government waste and resource recovery policy, plans and strategy, including Statewide Waste and Resource Recovery Infrastructure plan (SWIRRP), the Recycling Industry Strategic Plan (RISP), Sustainability Victoria's Strategic Plan and the Recycling Victoria - a new economy Policy.
Reporting to the Team Leader Infrastructure Investment in the Infrastructure Partnerships Branch you will be required to manage and deliver multiple projects and funding agreements (contracts) with project partners to meet milestone payment schedules and due dates. You will contribute to program enquiries and promotion, monitoring, reporting and evaluation and provide advice on waste management.
About you
The position requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to build relationships quickly. You will be required to work to critical timelines to achieve results.
You will work in a result driven, high performing team and you will have a demonstrated ability to multi-task while being resilient and adaptable to the demands of a fast-paced agile work environment is essential.
You should have a tertiary qualification (or relevant work experience) in related fields i.e. engineering, environmental sciences/management or sustainability.
