About the opportunity

The HI Portfolio team exists to support the Delivery Capability of Health Insurance. We have a band new role for a Manager, HI Portfolio to join us on a permanent basis. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end framework on how we identify and prioritise the right things to ensure Initiatives effectively and efficiently follow Hub processes. This involves creating and continuously improving the approach to work and productive execution; as well as working closely with the Initiative owners in the creation of respective Business cases. The role is also responsible for working collaboratively with the APAD team to ensure seamless experience in the progress of Ideas through to Delivery and ultimately customer value. A key outcome is ensured supply of service and teams is aligned to demand optimally and we can constantly upfit and improve the amount of throughput in a constrained environment.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

- Demonstrable experience in design and operation of portfolio processes and PMO leadership
- syncing across a variety of operating models, business segments, functions, and alignment of multiple delivery approaches;
- Ideally Strong technical acumen in modern engineering practices and its relation to team and system ways of working and how we deliver change in a modern complex environment;
- Complex stakeholder management and engagement skills, including communication to executive and C-level audiences;
- Commercial acumen - experience operating within benefits and value realisation frameworks, including cost effective delivery and productivity measurement;
- Established industry and market skills and relationships within the agile and modern delivery spaces - e.g. Scrum Alliance, Agile Business Consortium, etc;
- Proven track record in Delivery Management is essential, with working knowledge of Waterfall and agile methodologies at team level, program and at organisational scale;
- High proficiency in the use of EPM, MS Project, PowerBI and ADO essential;
