We are currently looking for an experienced Patient Safety Professional to join our Medical Affairs team and join us on our journey to pioneer the future of healthcare.

**What you’ll do**
As a Patient Safety Associate in this 12 months contract role, you will be an integral team member of our dynamic Patient Safety and Medical Affairs team, bringing products to patients. Reporting to the Head of Patient Safety and Medical Communications you will have an opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the local pharmacovigilance system, from representing Patient Safety in cross functional project teams monitoring Organised Data Collection (ODC) Programs, supporting with PVAs and other contracts, assisting with maintenance of the Quality Management System and liaising with our case processing team. You will be integral in ensuring compliance with AstraZeneca and regulatory requirements for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) to ensure audit and inspection readiness locally at all times.

**Essential for the role**
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (Pharmacy/Medical/Science)
- Relevant experience in pharmacovigilance within the pharmaceutical industry in Australia/New Zealand
- Knowledge of local and global pharmacovigilance regulations
- Collaborative and agile mindset

**Desirable for the role**
- Strong understanding of local Country PV systems and requirements
- Broad range and level of exposure to various aspects of a local pharmacovigilance system, including Quality Management Systems
- Proactive and collaborative approach, with an ability to work autonomously
