**Job Title**: Operational Control Centre (OCC) Officer

**Location**: Randwick depot, Sydney

**Role Overview**:

- As an OCC Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and sustainable operation of the Region 9 network. Based at our Operational Control Centre in our Randwick depot, you'll be at the heart of managing day-to-day service delivery, responding to disruptions, incidents, and coordinating resources to meet business requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage disruptions, crew changes, incidents, and vehicle breakdowns.
- Provide timely information to staff about service conditions and network problems.
- Ensure bus services align with the network service plan.
- Coordinate activities to address breakdowns, late-running buses, high patronage, and extreme weather events.
- Support frontline employees during emergencies and incidents.
- Allocate resources and adjust rosters to meet business needs, including coverage for absenteeism.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Experience in transport, logistics, or services industry.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of the role of Bus Operators.
- Ability to manage incidents calmly and efficiently.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
