**The Great Southern Hotel Sydney (GSH-Sydney)** is a busy heritage-listed hotel located in the heart of Sydney’s vibrant entertainment district, offering 176 rooms, and maintaining high occupancy. The hotel is within walking distance of the CBD, Central Station, Chinatown, Darling Harbour and Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centres. The Great Southern Hotel is currently seeking a well-presented individual to join our team in the Casual position of Pest Control Operator for a 6 months contract period, Monday to Friday, from 10.00 AM to 3.00 PM not over public holidays

**About the role**:
**As our Pest Control Operator, your responsibilities will include**:

- Determining the kind of treatment required to eliminate a particular type of pest.
- Advising on the kind of treatment required to eliminate identified pests.
- Filling out all necessary paperwork upon completion of each job.
- Communicating with HSK in order to schedule services.
- Responding to requests for various pest control services.
- Adjusting chemical mixtures according to the size of the infested areas.
- Risk assessment and risk control implementation.
- Creating a Pest Control Strategy for the Hotel.
- Pest Control on the Hotel to avoid cockroaches, spiders, rodents, flies, bed bugs, etc.

**About you**:

- High school diploma.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proven pest control experience.
- Licensed to perform pest control.
- The ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Flexible to travel to other Hotels in different states
