**Job Description**:
We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to assist with Group-level strategic projects across both our Nathan and Gold Coast campuses. This role will work closely with the Technical Managers to provide support for building and infrastructure, health and safety, and process improvement projects.
**What we can offer**
This is a fixed term (2-year contract), full time position and is primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 6 range $85,287 - $90,972per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $99,785 - $106,437per annum.
**Qualifications**:
To be successful in the role you will possess the following attributes and experiences:
- Demonstrated experience with research facilities in at least one of the following areas: Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or Physics, with a basic understanding of the needs of all the listed disciplines being desirable.
- Be able to review technical documentation, such as floor plans, and identify errors and omissions. You will be able to reconcile information across multiple, large datasets with a keen eye for detail being essential.
- Experience in the management of hazardous goods such as chemicals, radioactive substances, biological material, gases, or lasers with an in-depth knowledge of the standards, regulations, and best practices for one or more of these dangerous goods categories would be desirable.
- Possess excellent organisational and time management skills with demonstrated experience in dynamically prioritising tasks. You will have the ability to keep track of many concurrent projects and ensure all the relevant information has been organised and stored appropriately.
