One of the largest leading independent suppliers of safety equipment, clothing, and footwear is currently looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join its growing team.

This role would be working in a proudly Australian owned and operated run company looking to add to its growing branch based in North Melbourne.

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is working within a tight-knit Finance team of a National growing business as the Accounts Receivables Officer.

The role will focus on processing high volume customer payments, maintaining accounts receivable records and reconciling receipts. The role includes the opportunity to liaise with key clients and build relationships with their teams in relation to overseeing the accounts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create new customer accounts
- Manage customer credit limits
- Daily bank reconciliations and updating of accounts receivable ledger
- Maintain key accounts including account reconciliations as requested
- Send invoice copies to customers, including monthly account statements
- Minimise aging through productive collection techniques
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Tertiary level qualification in Bookkeeping/Accounting
- High attention to detail
- Strong organisation and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Solid understanding of MS Office and NetSuite (or similar)
