An exciting opportunity to join The Hills or Hornsby / Ku-Ring-Gai District Team providing general operational and administrative support to the District. One role is based at The Hills Fire Control Centre in Kenthurst, and the other role is based at Hornsby / Ku-Ring-Gai Fire Control Centre in Cowan.

Reporting to the District Manager, you will be joining a team of Operational Officers and Administrators to support the volunteer run NSW RFS Fire Brigades within our Districts. Day to day tasks will primarily include duties as directed by the District Manager including taking delivery of goods, unpacking of goods, stores and stock management, assisting in the movement of fleet, data entry, assisting with Hazard Reductions, and other ad hoc duties as required.
- Have a passion for working with volunteers and emergency services
- Have the ability to confidently use technology, particularly MS Office and SAP systems.
- Be self-sufficient and self-motivated and take the initiative to progress own work
- Be able to respond to shifting priorities
- Work as a supportive and cooperative team member
