About Us

Abbotsford Boatshed is one of the oldest and most respected boatsheds in Australia. Located on the Parramatta River, we provide commercial moorings at several sites and offer a range of marine services, including maintenance and salvage operations.


About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated General Hand to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work, can take direction well, and has basic knowledge of hand and power tools.


Key Responsibilities

  • General cleaning and maintenance of the boatshed and work areas
  • Assisting with mooring maintenance at various sites
  • Supporting boat salvage and recovery operations
  • Using hand and power tools for general tasks
  • Working around and occasionally on the water

What We're Looking For

  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Good work ethic and a can-do attitude
  • Punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious
  • Marine industry experience (advantageous but not essential)
