About Us
Abbotsford Boatshed is one of the oldest and most respected boatsheds in Australia. Located on the Parramatta River, we provide commercial moorings at several sites and offer a range of marine services, including maintenance and salvage operations.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated General Hand to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work, can take direction well, and has basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning and maintenance of the boatshed and work areas
- Assisting with mooring maintenance at various sites
- Supporting boat salvage and recovery operations
- Using hand and power tools for general tasks
- Working around and occasionally on the water
What We're Looking For
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Good work ethic and a can-do attitude
- Punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious
- Marine industry experience (advantageous but not essential)
