Our client is an Australian-owned and operated company, providing services to construction industries by manufacturing PVC pipes for over a decade. Their Deer-park site is well established and they are looking for Maintenance Fitters on Day shift to join their team.

**Responsibilities**
- The Mechanical Fitters will be responsible for the ongoing execution of safe and efficient mechanical maintenance for the entire Deer Park Plant.
- Diagnose faults and problems and take appropriate actions
- Disassembly and assembly of machinery and extrusion dies
- Maintain and adhere to safety standards
- Liaise with supervisors and machine operators about the performance of equipment

**Skills required**
- Trade Certificate AUSTRALIAN recognised
- Sound knowledge and experience in assembling and maintaining mechanical systems
- Be capable to conduct physical tasks with ease during assembly and disassemble

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $31.57 - $35.17 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- DEER PARK, VIC 3023: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Mechanical trade certificate (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
