Due to the ongoing business growth, we are seeking to employ a **Mechanical Fitter** to join our **Adelaide, South Australia team**.

**The Role & Responsibilities**:

- Maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
- To perform repair work to cranes, Installations of cranes, hoists and materials handling equipment and from time to time other equipment in a professional and tradesman like manner.
- Fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and sub-assemblies to produce machines and equipment.
- Checking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments

**The successful applicant should have**:

- Mechanical trade
- Previous experience within the crane industry
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Must be well organized and show effective time management skills
- Must have a current manual driver’s license
- Must be safety conscious and the ability to promote a safe environment
- Must be available to work overtime and travel to remote sites when required
- Sound mechanical aptitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
