- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Supervising and directing the day-to-day operations of the collection centres, including rostering, performance monitoring, compliance, and meeting service standards.
- Dealing with the daily operational issues and problem-solving
- Identifying training needs and tracking performance and ongoing competency of collection staff in conjunction with the Collection Training and Development Coordinator
- Coaching and motivating staff
- To be proactive in the process of recruitment, training and ongoing support for employees
- To be the first point of call for collection staff
- Payroll time and attendance management of staff hours through Kronos
- Liaise closely with the Business Development Manager and Marketing Liaison Officer in reporting any Doctor/Health Professional queries that may affect business development within the allocated area.
- Compliance and adherence with Laverty Pathology policies and procedures and Workplace Health and Safety procedures.
- To actively be involved in the operational set-up of any new collection centres
- To be active in reinforcing to all collection staff in your area, the best practice policy, NATA, N.P.A.A.C and Medicare Australia guidelines
- Be an active participant/facilitator in staff and management meetings

**About you**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- A NSW Drivers licence
- A background in Pathology is essential
- A minimum 5 years experience in Venepuncture is essential
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in staff rostering and leave management
- Experience in auditing and compliance monitoring
- Possess strong people management skills with previous supervisory experience, excellent organisational, problem-solving, troubleshooting and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with the Collections team, referring Doctors, Patients and Managers, both written and verbal
- Ability to take directives from senior management
- Be proactive, capable of working autonomously, and enjoy challenges
- Be able and willing to working flexibly, including weekends where required, to meet the business needs
- Be able to prioritise and work under pressure; and
- Be able to maintain a high degree of discretion, confidentiality and professionalism.
