**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Management & Optimization**:

- **Monitor GCP spending and usage to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure budget adherence.**:

- **Implement and manage cost optimization strategies for GCP resources, including rightsizing, committed use discounts, and resource scheduling.**:

- **Oversee all cloud environments in Google Cloud**:

- **Drive up the governance and management of the environments to, drive down cloud costs**:

- **Budgeting & Forecasting**:

- **Develop and maintain GCP budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and cloud usage patterns.**:

- **Track and report on budget performance, providing insights into variances and potential financial impacts.**:

- **Assist in the development of long-term financial strategies related to GCP.**:

- **Financial Governance**:

- **Establish and enforce financial governance policies and procedures for GCP expenditures.**:

- **Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with financial policies and cloud cost management practices.**:

- **Create and maintain documentation related to GCP financial operations and governance.**:

- **Data Analysis & Reporting**:

- **Analyze GCP financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost management and optimization.**:

- **Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate financial performance and cloud cost metrics.**:

- **Present financial findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management.**:

- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- **Partner with TDD, finance, and cloud operations teams to understand their needs and provide financial guidance for GCP resources.**:

- **Facilitate effective communication between technical and financial teams to align cloud strategies with business objectives.**:

- **Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate teams on GCP cost management best practices.**:

- **Continuous Improvement**:

- **Stay informed about industry trends, GCP updates, and best practices in cloud financial management.**:

- **Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations related to GCP.**:

- **Participate in industry forums and conferences to share knowledge and gain insights into emerging trends.**

**Qualifications**:

- **Proven experience in financial management, cloud financial operations, or a related field, with specific experience in GCP.**:

- **In-depth knowledge of GCP services, pricing models, and cost management strategies.**:

- **Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.**:

- **Proficiency in financial tools and platforms, including GCP billing and cost management tools, Excel, and data visualization software.**:

- **Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.**:

- **Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.**

**Preferred Skills**:

- **Experience with GCP cost management tools (e.g., Google Cloud’s Cost Management tools, BigQuery,Looker).**:

- **Familiarity with cloud financial management frameworks and methodologies.**:

- **Knowledge of financial compliance and regulatory requirements related to cloud services.**

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
