Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Junior DevOps Specialist
to join our growing technology team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge of cloud platforms, automation, and CI/CD pipelines who are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. You will support the implementation, monitoring, and optimization of infrastructure and deployment processes, ensuring smooth delivery of software and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in building, maintaining, and monitoring CI/CD pipelines for software deployments.
  • Support cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams to improve release processes.
  • Write and maintain basic automation scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security alerts.
  • Document processes, workflows, and technical solutions for knowledge sharing.
  • Learn and apply best practices for configuration management, version control, and DevOps tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Docker, Jenkins, or Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of scripting languages (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a collaborative environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Linux/Unix systems administration.
  • Exposure to infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.).

  • Internship or academic project experience in DevOps or cloud environments.
