The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is responsible for the statutory supervision of young people in the criminal justice system in Victoria focusing on prevention, diversion, and early intervention as the most effective and fiscally responsible ways of reducing youth crime.

Statewide Rehabilitation Services (SRS) is a statewide program that provides young people in custody and the community with developmentally targeted and multi-systemic offence-specific and offence-related assessments and interventions.

**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Director, Statewide Rehabilitation Services, the Manager, Performance and Evaluation is responsible for monitoring, evaluating and reporting on service outcomes, performance and quality assurance.
- Fixed term (Full-time/Part-time) position until 30 June 2027 based in Melbourne.
- VPS Grade 6 role: $138,631 - $185,518 per year plus superannuation
- Operationalising SRS principles by leading continuous improvement initiatives and monitoring delivery of evidence-informed clinical practice.
- Working closely with the SRS Management Group to provide evidence and insights to guide and support their management of local clinical practice and service delivery.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Demonstrated experience in conducting research, performance monitoring, evaluation and/or review of programs and policy
- Demonstrated experience in knowledge translation through the interpretation, presentation and communication of quantitative and qualitative data to a range of audiences.
- Experience in evaluation frameworks and stakeholder management, and in monitoring of complex service systems.
- Subject matter knowledge in forensic clinical interventions or related areas such as criminology, psychology, social work or youth work
