As the Communications Advisor, you will have experience in supporting and delivering high impact, multi-channel communications programs. You will report to the Head of Communications AU and provide project management support across all communication functions - including public relations, go-to-market activities, content development and internal communication.

You will be skilled at juggling multiple tasks and projects, enjoy the hustle of working on high profile projects and enjoy working with multiple stakeholders including members of Xero's global functions and leadership teams.

**What you'll do**:

- Execute on allocated tasks and projects as determined by members of the APAC and Australian Communications teams.
- Coordinate communications reporting and analysis using measurement tools.
- Draft and review content for a variety of channels (including press releases, blogs, sponsored content, social media copy).
- Source, draft, coordinate, manage customer case studies.
- Assist with managing the PR agency.
- Execution of external and internal communications of go-to-market operating priorities.
- Partner closely with other core go-to-market teams including Marketing, Sales, Education and more to ensure campaigns are integrated and aligned to company goals.
- Support the Head of Communications on executive communications activities including profiling, content production, media briefings, etc.

**What you'll bring with you**:

- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, English or a related field.
- At least five years' proven experience in public relations and communications.
- Strong writing and editing skills
- PR experience - understanding of Australian media landscape and experience either working in, or with, and agency.
