Flexhive by Hudson is seeking to engage professionals with a passion for customer service to work in the contact centre of one of the State Government agencies based in Newcastle. This is a 3 month casual contract starting ASAP.

About the role:

- Office based role in Newcastle
- Monday to Friday hours between 7am to 7pm on a 4 week rotating roster
- 7 hours per day / 35 hours per week
- Must be available to start ASAP
- 3 month casual contract with the possibility to extend

**Key tasks and responsibilities**
- Assist with customers' enquiries and provide resolution
- Create a positive customer interaction, maintaining a professional and friendly manner
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of operating practices and procedures
- Must be available to start ASAP
- 2 - 3 years customer service experience (call centre, admin, retail)
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous gov experience is preferred but not required
- Intermediate computer skills required (Proficient in Microsoft office suite, particularly Outlook and Teams)
- Must be tech savvy and have the ability to pick up systems quickly
- Police check is required
