**Community Care**
- Supporting our elders in their homes means you are one-on-one with clients. You could drop in to help with personal care or domestic duties in the morning or evening. Or keep clients connected to their community through activities they love - like walking, gardening, going out for a coffee or lunch, and transporting them to appointments.
- A typical day includes 2-4 client visits for 1-3 hours Monday to Friday.

**What we look for**
- a genuine passion for caring for our elders
- able to work independently and as part of a team
- able to communicate and build rapport with clients in English (other languages can be helpful too)
- Cert III or higher in Individual Support or related studies (i.e. nursing)
- students studying Individual Support or related
- a reliable car and valid driver’s license
- respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
- To work in Home Care, you will need to supply a recent police check, proof of vaccinations, and evidence of your certifications. We'll only ask you for these when we need them.
